SeaIlfracombe is a project we've been involved with since its inception in 2009. Drawing on Ilfracombe's history as a fishing port, embarkation point and Victorian seaside holiday destination, SeaIlfracombe aims to be the most diverse Maritime Festival in the country - and so far we're achieving that, with:

Food Trails (have your lunch in 4 different establishments) and Gourmet Restaurant Evenings.
Enjoy a Maritime Party on board the Oldenburg alongside the quay.
Try your hand at gig-rowing.
Wander around the harbour - see the trawlers and smell the fish.
Send the kids to a Pirate Disco or other children's activities.
Cheer on the competitors in the second SeaIlfracombe Triathlon as they battle through the international standard cycling, swimming and running course.
Relax, watching for Dolphins, Sharks and even Orcas from the top of Capstone Hill.
Watch the RNLI rescue demonstration in the harbour.
Have a guided tour of the Tunnels excavated by Welsh Miners to a private beach.
Become a citizen of Nowhere Island - or just come and see this controversial piece of conceptual art, paid for by the Arts Council for Olympic Year with £500,000:00. It'll be anchored at Ilfracombe for SeaIlfracome. Make up your own mind as to the value!
Enjoy sea-songs, maritime stories and shanties from local and national performers in concerts, quayside entertainment, meet-the-artist events and informal sing-along sessions.
Take the kids on a guided Rockpool Ramble or visit the Ilfracombe Aquarium
Join the Red Petticoats morris-dance team as they re-enact Betsy Gammon's successful attempts to scare off French Men-o-war by the use of red petticoats.
Visit the Maritime-themed arts and crafts exhibition and fair at the Pavilion in the Landmark Theatre.
Take a coastal voyage on board the Balmoral.
